History

Gardening Graces began operation in the late '90s when Barbara began conducting garden seminars and offering design and consultation services. Designing places of beauty and uniqueness while holding to "as natural as possible" garden practices have always been my priority. Proper pruning techniques and plant care are of utmost importance. Problem-solving in the yard and landscape has eased many clients' burdens and added to their overall appreciation of their own yards and landscapes. Solely by word of mouth, my business for personalized garden consultation in Ypsilanti, MI, increased and grew to allow me to train and hire crews to work with me. I have had some of the best  employees working for me, and many of our clients would agree.

Having completed more than 20 years in business, Gardening Graces now goes back to its roots and offers, as of 2021, personalized consultation and design services for homeowners seeking help, advice or inspiration for their hards and gardens. Philosophy

We see each project as a living canvas, a work in progress that will ultimately, not only enhance the property, but most importantly, increase the enjoyment and appreciation of it. Great care is given to avoid common, overly used plant material and design techniques. We subscribe to an "as natural as possible" maintenance policy. We pledge to offer high quality workmanship, personal attention and job completion in a timely fashion that epitomizes the company philosophy to do unto others as we would have them do unto us.
